Styxhexenhammer666 covers the story of the FBI putting out a presser on the recent information to come out of the Twitter Files. Most will know , this information covers how the FBI used tax payer money to “compensate” Twitter for their efforts to suppress the free speech of Americans in regard to the Hunter Biden laptop. Regardless of your opinion on the laptop, though no sane person can deny the validity of it now, people freely discussing it is protected under the 1st Amendment. People tend to argue that the 1st Amendment does not apply to private platforms such as Twitter but that does change completely when a government agency directly requests and even pays to have the free speech of individuals suppressed on the site. Styx does a great job in his analysis of the situation.
My favorite part starts at about 7:05 in. Styx goes into this rant about the Boston Marathon Bombers and ends up detailing how the term “conspiracy theorist” has evolved from tin foil hat crazies 20 years ago to mainstream critical thinker today. I am paraphrasing here but the sentiment is pretty close. This is not to insult the conspiracy theorist from 20 years ago either. Most everything they thought was really happening.
