In the US, Social Security and Medicare are doomed. Apparently by 2035, they will have completely drained any and all reserves. This is wonderful for me personally. Being currently 57 years old. This is around the timeframe that would be needing to utilize the programs. After having spent decade paying into the systems, just to have the government say…”oops sorry!!!”. I knew for a long time that I would never be able to retire. This just confirms it.
