Josh from the Crossroads does a short piece on the World Health Treaty that is currently be negotiated. It is set top be voted on next year. The treaty would give binding authority to the World Health Organization (WHO) if that group declared a pandemic of global concern. The biggest problem with this is the extremely vague and ambiguous definition of a pandemic of global concern. It could quite literally be anything the head to the WHO says is a threat to human health. Once declared the nations that sign onto the treaty would be obligated to follow the directives of the WHO. National sovereignty would be over. Global dictatorship anyone?
