Tony Heller shoots holes in the statistics of a crack pot journalist. This journalist is claiming there to be a “once in 7.5 million years” event going on in Antartica. If this were the case it would be a six sigma event. The claim is that despite being the southern hemisphere winter, no sea ice is re-forming. This is easily disproven by Tony with actual numbers. I love the quote he throws in at the end. Tony states that Mark Twain quoted Benjamin Disraeli as saying, “there are lies, damn lies and statistics”. I think that sums things up nicely.
