In this, James Corbett of the Corbett Report does a really good deep drive in the Edward Bernays. Bernays was the nephew of Sigmond Freud and is considered the Father of Propaganda. He even wrote a book by that title in 1928. He used his uncles teachings not to determine why someone behaves in a particular manner but rather to drive behavior to a desired goal. He used messaging that emotion and invoke their fears. This had the effect of bypassing the peoples critical thinking processes. Using this type of messaging to the masses he found he could shift the Overton Window to areas previously unthinkable. As an example, in the early part of the 20th century fluoride was (correctly) thought to be an insecticide or even rat poison. The thought of putting it in your mouth or even worse in your drinking water would have been insane. The aluminum industry created this toxic byproduct in the production process. This was going to cost them millions to dispose of it as an industrial waste. The Aluminum Company American, ALCOA hired Bernays to create a PR campaign to change the image of fluoride. Bernays put out advertising that had lots of smiling children, plucking the harp strings to brainwash the people that fluoride will give their children healthy teeth. This has never been proven. A recent report that was forced to be released, a report that had been repressed by this government regulatory agency for years, shows that fluoride cause a 5 to 10 percent reduction in IQs. I digress. Bernays managed to convince the public to add a poison to their water and this idea has stuck for decades. The governments of the world have learned these lessons from Bernays. Obama signed a law that allows the US government to propagandize to its own citizens. Always step back and think dispassionately when things occur. Could it be part of a mass psychological manipulation? Is it attempting to reach you on an emotional level? Then look at who benefits.
