Jon Bowne does a good job of summarizing the events surrounding the sham verdict in the President Donald Trump New York business fraud trial. There is plenty more that can be said of the trial itself. How the same judge always gets the cases that involve the President and his supporters. The way this judge gave instructions to the jury that are so outside the norm. The lack of necessity for unanimous agreement on the underlying “crime” (a misdemeanor that was beyond the statute of limits). The fact the in virtually all trials the defendant gets the last word but not in this one. The prosecution spoke last in the closing arguments. The manner in which the judge denied witnesses for the defense. This is flat out a violation of this man’s right to due process. I hope the left is happy because it has not set a precedent.
